Volunteer Policy

HopeSpace Volunteer Policy

Volunteers are a significant and valuable  resource and HopeSpace is committed to treating all volunteers fairly, equitably and with respect, providing support and recognising their input. We do everything we can to ensure that volunteering with HopeSpace is a constructive and rewarding experience. We do this by fully integrating volunteers into the work of HopeSpace and keeping them informed about organisational developments.

We recognise that volunteers require satisfying work and personal development opportunities and seek to help volunteers meet these needs. Volunteers are supported through induction, training and  supervision. Volunteer contributions are recognised through invitations to special events and opportunities to give feedback which helps to improve the HopeSpace service. Volunteers have the right to refuse any request made of them and are not bound by contract but are obliged to volunteer in line with the conditions set out in the volunteer agreement.

If you are interested in volunteering with HopeSpace please contact info@hopespace.ie and we will get back to you to give you more detail.
