Welcome to HopeSpace

We support children and young people who are struggling with the loss of someone they love

What do we do at HopeSpace?

We provide a free one-to-one support service for grieving children and young people who are struggling with the loss of a loved one. A team of trained volunteers help children and young people to address their emotions around grief, to understand that grief is a normal reaction to loss and that their emotions are normal.

Nothing that grieves us can be called little; by the external laws of proportion a child’s loss of a doll and a king’s loss of a crown are events of the same size.
